Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most common questions:

Can we meet before we book?

Absolutely!  Getting to know me as your photographer is important as I'll be with you all day. I always suggest a video call before booking to make sure what you’re after is what I offer and to put names to faces.

Do we meet up before the wedding?

Yes, if we don't meet before you book we will certainly meet up before the big day to discuss your arrangements. I'm only a phone call away also, so you can always call to talk things through.

How far will you travel?

I’m happy to travel anywhere for a wedding but also have to consider when and where the wedding is taking place as sometimes I may have a wedding the day before or after during peak seasons. Get in touch to let me know where and when your plans are taking place to discuss further.

Do we need to pay a deposit?

The deposit to secure your date is £350. All payments are made easy through the website.

When do we need to pay the full amount?

The final payment is due on the 1st of the month before your wedding.  So if you're getting married August 16th, you'd pay the final payment on the 1st of July.  A reminder will be sent before though with some extra information.

Will you visit the wedding venue before the day?

Photography is all about light, so visiting the venue before your actual day won't give me an idea of how the light will look on the day.  What might look like a great location for photos one day could be the exact opposite the day after.  For that reason, I leave looking around the venue until the actual day but don’t worry, with 9 years of experience, there isn’t a venue I can’t handle!

Do you have a 2nd photographer?

I do offer the option to have a 2nd shooter who will capture the alternative morning through to the end of the speeches.

Do you shoot group shots?

Yes!  My style is to capture your day like a story, capturing the natural moments.  However, I understand group shots are timeless and can be shown to family generations for years. I try to keep group shots to around 8 - 12 key shots. Most couples who book me say they want natural, candid photos, however, if the entire free time is spent shooting family formals you won't get those photos and a traditional photographer would be better suited.

How long does it take to get our photos back?

Your wedding gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks of your wedding.

DO WE NEED TO FEED YOU?

Providing food isn't a requirement but after non-stop work it certainly won't be turned down!  This question is usually asked before the wedding so I know whether to bring food along on the day. I’m an adult, I can bring food if needed! :)
